The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities has awarded Tango Mercurio a $15,000 grant from its Relief and Recovery Fund to offset losses from COVID-19. The funding will help us cover staffing, space rental and other operating expenses in support of our classes, events and outreach activities.
At the end of July, Balance Gym closed their Thomas Circle location.
This Fall, starting Friday, September 16, Tango Mercurio’s Friday classes and practica will be held at Balance Gym Capitol Hill.
We will continue with the same format as before. Two parallel classes (6:30-8:00pm) followed by a combined practica (8:00-8:45pm).
Please note that classes start @ 6:30pm – an hour earlier than in the past.
Parking is ample and easy at the new location.
