Augusto has had a unique role in the evolution of modern tango in Buenos Aires, one which promotes an inclusive and egalitarian culture where anyone can lead, follow, or switch roles regardless of their biology or gender identity. We are excited to welcome him to DC and invite him to help us build this type of culture within our own tango community.

For more information about Augusto’s visit or to schedule a private lesson, please contact our Queer Tango Program Manager, Liz Sabatiuk.
