Fall 2024 Schedule

Schedule

We kick off our Fall program on the first day of Hispanic Heritage month, September 15 with an OPEN HOUSE featuring performances and two “Intro to Tango” classes - at La Cosecha. All events on September 15 are free and open to the public.

Our Fall courses run progressively for 12 weeks from September 18 until December 13. Whether you are an absolute beginner or have been dancing for a few years, we have something for you. (No classes/events during Thanksgiving week, Nov. 25 - Dec.1)

In addition, we offer Technique Classes before our Matinee Milonga on 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month (September 08, 22; October 13, 27; November 10, 24; December 08, 22).

Learn about balance, posture, basic musical education and technique for tango movement, while improvising with a partner. Class vocabulary includes the tango “walk”, cunitas (rock steps), the follower’s cross, back ochos, basic navigational tools and introductory level adornments.

We encourage the study of both roles, role-switching, and dancing with a variety of partners. (Staying with one partner is also welcome).

No partner required. Must register.

All Levels - Technique Intensive Seminar w/ Virginia Pandolfi

Follower’s Technique - Applicable to Both Roles

Many years working in the search for coherence between what is said and what is done, led me to develop a conscious and precise teaching method, connected with my sensations and experiences.

Seeking to transmit without a predetermined style, but rather providing the tools for awareness and control of one's own body, giving way to freedom and independence in movement.

I invite you to share the bases, the foundations and the development of my technique, in an intensive seminar for all those who are seeking to develop self-knowledge, and thus be able to open the doors to encounter and connection between the parts.” - Virginia
