Tango Storytelling Show

In our first annual Tango Storytelling Show, seven storytellers shared their curated stories about tango—some heartbreaking, others hilarious, but all true and very personal at Busboys and Poets Brookland. The show included live music by Emmanuel Trifilio on bandoneon and Ramón González on guitar and dance performances by Annelise Morani Brody and Alex Hartsell, with our Board Chair Flora Le as Mistress of Ceremonies. We had a full house of some 90 people—fellow tango dancers, friends, and family.
