La Cosecha Practica

The grand opening of our new monthly Sunday afternoon práctica at La Cosecha Latin market on Sunday, February 23 drew a capacity crowd of over 90 people to the upstairs mezzanine level space overlooking the market, with its brand-new wood floor. Newcomers to tango sampled our “Tango Taster” beginners class at 2:00 p.m. and dancers of all levels joined in for practice from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to DJ Amanda Garli’s inspiring musical selections. Anyone hungry or thirsty could sample some of the quality Latin fare available in the market. 

La Cosecha, a contemporary market celebrating Latin American culture and conversation through authentic flavors, art, and heritage, is a nonprofit that shares our mission of building community through Latin culture. The Práctica will continue to be held on the 4th Sundays of the month, once the current lockdown is lifted. All are welcome, no partner is needed, and dancers can bring their non-dancer friends. Tentative dates: July 26, August 23

Cost:Tango Taster is $10 ($5 for seniors/full-time students w/ ID)
Práctica is $5 (free for those taking the class)
