Queer Tango at The LINE

Tango Mercurio partnered with the DC Queer Tango Collective and the Adams Morgan Community Center at the LINE Hotel to offer a free Queer Tango introductory class on January 12, 2020. More than 20 students attended the class, taught by Olga Liapis-Muzzy and Yiannis Markakis. Students learned the fundamentals of tango dancing, such as the tango embrace, walk and basic steps for both leading and following. The Adams Morgan Community Center is a nonprofit community incubator space at the LINE DC.
