To help keep our community safe, Tango Mercurio suspended all our in-person activities after the World Health Organization declared a global pandemic due to COVID-19. Instead, in the months of April & May, we offered a free weekly Online Seminar Program with internationally renowned presenters, along with local speakers competitively selected based on our call for proposals.
The nine seminars included two panel discussions, three lectures, two body workshops for tango dancing, and two seminars. They attracted an average of some 75 participants each, and up to over 100. The response was so positive, we may continue the program later in the year.
